We had a half-day with Terry from Kool Katz who guaranteed we would stand up on our boards and ride a wave for 40 metres by the end of the session or we’d get our money back!

Ride the solar train

Byron is home to the worlds first solar train. Run by a not-for-profit organisation that reinvests into the network. The train operates 364 days a year, linking Byron beach to North beach station, which would otherwise take around an hour to walk.
